The Angels’ offense provided just enough run support to secure the win. Shortstop Zach Neto led the charge, finishing 3-for-5 with two doubles and a triple while scoring two runs. The performance came just two days after Neto’s stellar 5-for-6 showing against Houston. Los Angeles improved to 52-78, while handing the Rangers their tenth shutout loss of the season. The teams will conclude their series on Sunday with Texas sending Cal Quantrill to the mound.
