Amazon MGM Studios has unveiled a teaser for “Vibe,” an action comedy film directed by and starring Kunal Kemmu. The project follows two ordinary friends who unexpectedly find themselves tasked with becoming their nation’s primary defense against an unspecified threat. The teaser introduces the main characters: Hardik, portrayed by Kemmu, and Bugs, played by Sparsh Shrivastava, who are neither equipped nor enthusiastic about their newfound responsibilities as reluctant heroes.
The promotional footage showcases a blend of fast-paced action sequences and explosive set pieces interspersed with comedic moments, highlighting the film’s focus on chaotic situations and mismatched heroism. Preity G Zinta takes on a commanding role in the narrative, playing a composed and strategic character who draws the protagonists deeper into danger. The supporting cast includes debutant Vanshika Dhir alongside Dinesh Lal Yadav and Yashpal Sharma.
Kemmu serves as both writer and producer on the project through his production company Drongo Films, founded with Chirag Nihalani. The company specializes in character-driven stories that balance creative vision with commercial viability. “Vibe” is slated for theatrical release on September 18, marking another cinema-focused project for Amazon MGM Studios, which distributes films across theatrical, Prime Video, and MGM+ platforms.
