Variety has revealed the roster of presenters for its annual Power of Young Hollywood ceremony, set to take place on August 5 in Los Angeles with Disney+ serving as the presenting sponsor. Four notable entertainment figures will hand out awards during the evening’s festivities, each pairing with a different honoree.
Singer Madison Beer will present the Triple Threat Award to Tate McRae, while music legend Lindsey Buckingham, known for his work with Fleetwood Mac, will honor Sombr with the Songwriter of the Year accolade. Actress Kiernan Shipka, recognized for her roles in “Mad Men” and “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,” will give Tyriq Withers the New Leading Man Award. Rounding out the presenter lineup is Tiffani Thiessen, who will present the Rising Star Award to Malachi Barton.
Television personality Mario Lopez and his son Dominic will co-host the event. Lopez is an Emmy-winning broadcaster who currently leads “Access Hollywood” and hosts several radio programs, while his son is an emerging actor appearing in shows like “The Lincoln Lawyer” and “Matlock.”
The ceremony will make history by featuring its first-ever live musical performance, with singer-songwriter Sienna Spiro performing her track “Pure” as part of Amazon Music’s Breakthrough program sponsorship.
