West Ham United manager Nuno Espirito Santo is looking to move away from two underperforming players as he seeks to reshape the squad. The Portuguese coach has identified defender Jean-Clair Todibo and forward Niclas Fullkrug as candidates for departure from the club.
Todibo’s tenure at the London Stadium has been particularly troubled. The 26-year-old struggled to adapt under previous management, experiencing disciplinary issues and eventually falling out of favour. His situation deteriorated significantly last season when he reportedly refused to participate in a crucial final-day match, subsequently telling Nuno he would not play for him again. His absence from recent media day activities and official club photographs underscores the extent of his estrangement from the team.
Fullkrug has similarly failed to make the desired impact since joining the club, with injuries and inconsistent performances limiting his effectiveness in the squad. Both players were brought in with high expectations but have disappointed during their time at West Ham.
As Nuno looks to build his own team, West Ham are pursuing alternative targets to strengthen their squad. The club are reportedly interested in acquiring centre-back Axel Disasi following his impressive loan spell, along with several attacking options including striker Troy Parrott and winger Reiss Nelson.
