Trailmark Games and the Coolabi Group have jointly announced “Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest,” a new turn-based role-playing game drawing inspiration from the bestselling “Warrior Cats” novel series. The game invites players to engage in hunting, skill development, and territorial defense against opposing clan members as they advance through the ranks and uncover mysteries within the StarClan mythology.
The gaming experience centers on four distinct story campaigns, each corresponding to one of the major clans: ThunderClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan, and WindClan. Every campaign offers its own set of prophecies, character rivalries, and obstacles. Before embarking on their adventure, players will customize their own feline character with various colors, markings, and combat styles. The game world encompasses diverse environments including forests, marshes, moorlands, and sacred sites authentic to the “Warrior Cats” universe, where players encounter both established characters from the books and newly created figures.
Player choices throughout the game significantly influence relationships, rivalries, and standing within the clans, ensuring that each playthrough offers a personalized experience. “Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest” marks the second licensed title released by Trailmark Games since its June 2026 debut.
The game launches this fall on multiple platforms, including PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and both Nintendo Switch systems. The “Warrior Cats” franchise, which has sold over 90 million copies worldwide since its 2003 debut, continues to expand through various media formats including manga and graphic novels.
