Three Ohio State offensive linemen have been selected to the Outland Trophy preseason watch list, as announced by the Football Writers Association of America. The honor recognizes Austin Siereveld, Carson Hinzman, and Luke Montgomery as among the nation’s top interior linemen heading into the 2026 season.
Siereveld, a redshirt junior and two-year starter, emerged as a standout performer during Ohio State’s recent national championship campaign. The versatile lineman started at left tackle but may see action at another position to optimize the team’s five-man unit. His combination of experience and skill positions him as a potential early-round NFL draft prospect.
Hinzman brings extensive experience to the center position after a career path that included stints at guard. The fifth-year player earned First Team All-American honors and Third Team All-Big Ten recognition last season while anchoring the offensive line during the championship run. He also appears on the Rimington Trophy preseason watch list for top centers.
Montgomery, a junior, established himself as a dependable interior lineman after appearing in 28 total games and starting 16 contests. Following his performances in Ohio State’s national championship games, he earned a full-time starting role and is expected to continue developing into an All-Big Ten-caliber performer this season.
