Starbucks will introduce its highly anticipated Pumpkin Spice Latte to menus on August 25, marking the official beginning of the coffee chain’s fall beverage offerings. The seasonal menu expansion extends well beyond the signature drink, featuring several new additions designed to capture autumn flavors.
The expanded fall lineup includes both familiar favorites and innovative new options. Customers can choose from multiple pumpkin variations available in hot, iced, and blended formats, including newly introduced items such as the Iced Pumpkin Cream Shaken Espresso and Iced Pumpkin Cream Matcha. The menu also features returning pecan-based drinks, banana bread-inspired lattes and chai beverages, and a new Chaider—a chai-cider hybrid beverage. Complementing the drink selections are food items including a Chicken Bacon Protein Pocket, Hedgehog Cake Pop, and Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin.
The early August release reflects growing consumer enthusiasm for pumpkin-flavored products. Search data indicates that internet queries for pumpkin spice latte and pumpkin latte surged by 301 percent and 256 percent respectively during July, suggesting substantial demand ahead of the official launch date. Pumpkin-themed merchandise and seasonal decorations are already appearing in retail locations nationwide, signaling the industry-wide shift toward fall marketing well before summer concludes.
