Texas country artist Koe Wetzel is collaborating again with singer Ella Langley on a new track titled “Jaded,” marking their second musical partnership. The disco-influenced two-step song, which releases Friday through Columbia Records, tells the story of two lovers questioning how each other became emotionally hardened. The collaboration reunites Wetzel with Langley, who previously worked together on “That’s Why We Fight” from her 2023 debut EP.
The new single arrives as part of Wetzel’s sixth studio album, “The Night Champion,” released in June. The project, produced by Gabe Simon, represents a significant moment in Wetzel’s career as he navigates fatherhood and personal changes. Despite these life developments, Wetzel maintains he won’t abandon his characteristic directness in songwriting, though the album demonstrates broader emotional depth than his previous work.
