Katseye has achieved a major milestone by claiming their first number one album on the Billboard 200 chart. The group’s latest release “Wild,” a five-track project featuring the singles “Pinky Up” and “Hootie Frutti,” debuted at the top of the chart with 170,000 equivalent album units. The album also generated 145,000 in pure sales, representing the group’s strongest performance to date on both metrics.
This chart-topping achievement places Katseye among an elite group of all-female ensembles, making “Wild” the fourth number one album by such a group in the current decade. The release also set a record for the largest pure album sales week by an all-female group in over three years. Katseye’s previous highest chart position was number four with their 2025 release “Beautiful Chaos,” while their 2024 debut “SIS (Soft Is Strong)” peaked at number 98.
Singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers entered the chart at number two with her new album “Lost Weekend,” which earned 118,000 equivalent units. The album marks a significant career achievement for Bridgers, as it represents both her first solo top 10 debut and her best-performing week by unit sales to date. Prior to this, Bridgers had reached the top 10 through Boygenius, her collaborative group, when their 2023 album “The Record” peaked at number four.
The remainder of the top five features Stray Kids at number three, Olivia Rodrigo at number four, and Ella Langley rounding out the positions with her album “Dandelion.”
