Indian Hills Community College has released its 2026 volleyball schedule, with the season beginning August 20. Led by head coach Lyndsey Michel, the Warriors will compete in 31 matches throughout the campaign. The team has established itself as a junior college powerhouse, having won four consecutive NJCAA District Championships and earned four straight appearances at the national tournament.
The Warriors’ schedule reflects their competitive standing, featuring matchups against numerous nationally-ranked programs. Seven of the season’s contests will take place at the Hellyer Center in Ottumwa. Notably, the slate includes five matches against teams that participated in last year’s NJCAA Division I National Tournament and twelve contests against teams ranked in their respective national polls during the 2025 regular season.
Indian Hills will open play at the Reiver Classic in Council Bluffs before returning home August 24 to face Des Moines Area Community College. The team will travel to Texas in late August for the Kruse Kickoff Classic, competing against defending national runner-up Florida SouthWestern State College and other quality opponents. The Warriors will conclude their regular season October 29 before the NJCAA Midwest District Tournament takes place November 6-8.
The NJCAA Division I Volleyball National Championship will be held November 19 in Clarksville, Tennessee, giving the Warriors the opportunity to compete for another national title.
