CBS is airing a special tribute to Dolly Parton titled “Remembering Dolly: A Rhinestone Life,” produced by Entertainment Tonight and hosted by Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner. The hour-long program will premiere Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS and will be available to stream on Paramount+.
The special combines archival material with fresh commemorations of the country music legend’s life and career. Viewers will see Parton’s first interview with Entertainment Tonight from 1982 alongside her final appearance on the program. The broadcast also features new tributes from notable figures including Dionne Warwick, Melissa Etheridge, Diane Warren, Debbie Allen, and Jennifer Nettles.
For those without cable access, several streaming options are available. Viewers can stream the live broadcast through a DirecTV free trial or subscribe to Paramount+ Premium for live access. Paramount+ Essential subscribers will be able to watch the special the following day. This tribute comes as multiple networks continue honoring Parton’s legacy with special programming.
