Hillcrest Golf Course in Jamestown announced the results of its Ladies Day competition held on August 4th. Several golfers demonstrated impressive skill across various challenging shots throughout the course.
Courtney Cook emerged as a standout performer, capturing three weekly titles. She recorded the closest approach on hole five at just over 2 feet, followed by an exceptional second shot on hole six measuring approximately 26 feet. Cook capped off her strong performance with the tightest chip shot of the day on hole sixteen. Meanwhile, Kacey Schlafman claimed the closest initial approach on hole eight, and Kathy Strahm recorded the longest putt of the day on hole eleven.
Additional recognition went to Carolyn Dallmann, who achieved the closest shot to the 150-yard marker on hole twelve. Sherry McGuire took home the door prize for the week. Notably, the mystery game went unclaimed as no participants recorded birdies or chip-ins during competition.
The next Ladies Day event is scheduled for August 11th at the Jamestown course. Hillcrest also hosts Men’s Day competitions on Thursdays throughout the golf season, with the next session set for August 6th. Interested golfers should contact the facility directly for tee time reservations.
