According to a Pro Football Focus analysis examining preseason performance trends, Allen leads all quarterbacks in accumulated passing yardage since 2016, amassing 2,579 yards through August games. Despite his volume, Allen’s touchdown-to-interception ratio reveals challenges that have kept him sidelined during meaningful contests, recording nine scoring passes against sixteen turnovers. The Giants’ third-string signal-caller will have ample opportunity to expand these statistics this summer while competing for roster consideration.
As the third option behind Jaxson Dart and Jameis Winston on New York’s depth chart, Allen is positioned to receive significant playing time during the club’s preseason schedule.
