The Argos built a commanding 27-9 lead but had to withstand a furious second-half comeback attempt from the Salukis, who trimmed the deficit to three points before UWF ultimately prevailed.
Looking ahead, Nobles emphasized focusing on the next opponent rather than celebrating the upset. The program will travel to Central Arkansas for its conference opener, allowing the team a brief respite before returning to competition preparation on Sunday.
