Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Keenan Allen was taken into custody early Sunday morning following an incident in the city. According to police documentation reviewed by media organizations, the arrest occurred approximately 1 a.m. and involved two misdemeanor charges: driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated with endangerment to another person. Allen has not yet been formally charged in connection with the incident.
The Colts organization acknowledged the situation through an official statement released Sunday. The team indicated they were still in the process of reviewing details related to the arrest and declined to provide additional remarks at that time.
Allen recently joined the Colts organization and made an appearance in Saturday’s preseason matchup, recording one reception during the contest.
