Legendary performer Barry Manilow was forced to postpone his highly anticipated concert in Lexington, Kentucky, on Tuesday evening, just as the Rupp Arena prepared to open its doors to attendees. The musician’s team cited unspecified “unforeseen circumstances” as the reason for the last-minute cancellation, providing no additional details about what led to the decision.
According to a statement from the venue, all tickets previously purchased for the show will remain valid for a future date, which has yet to be announced. This marks the second time the Lexington date has been rescheduled, as Manilow had previously postponed an identical performance scheduled for March due to his ongoing recovery from lung cancer treatment.
The postponement continues a pattern of schedule adjustments for the singer’s farewell tour.
