About Premium Content, the boutique distribution arm of APC Studios, has secured multiple international broadcast agreements for three French-language productions ahead of the upcoming Unifrace Rendez-Vous market in Le Havre. The deals represent significant expansion across European and North American territories for the distributor’s slate of scripted and unscripted content.
“Blue Gold,” an eight-episode crime drama and multigenerational family saga, has been acquired by Walter Presents for the United Kingdom and Ireland, RTP for Portugal, and Blue Play for Switzerland, complementing its earlier placement with U.S. streaming service MHz Choice. Set during the 1980s in Provence, the series follows three women across generations as they unravel a decades-old family mystery connected to a murder investigation. The production stars Barbara Probst, Sylvie Granotier, and Déborah Krey.
“Seasons,” a four-part romantic drama spanning three decades, has found homes with RTP in Portugal and RTBF Auvio in French-speaking Belgium, following its previous sale to Radio Canada’s Ici Tou.TV Extra. Directed by and starring Nicolas Maury, the series chronicles an intricate love triangle that begins in 1991 at a French beach resort and evolves over more than thirty years. The cast includes Lucas Bravo and Stéphane Caillard.
Additionally, the three-part documentary “An Artful Imbroglio” has been picked up by Filmin in Spain and RTP in Portugal. The investigation explores one of the art world’s most significant scandals involving the alleged trafficking of forged Old Master paintings across Paris, Rome, London, and New York.
