The Indiana Fever will begin a demanding five-game road trip on Sunday when they face the Atlanta Dream at State Farm Arena. Coming off three consecutive victories, the Fever hold a 22-12 record, while the Dream sit at 21-12. The matchup marks the fourth and final regular-season meeting between these conference rivals, with Atlanta currently leading the series 2-1.
Caitlin Clark delivered an outstanding performance in Friday’s 98-87 victory over Dallas, recording 29 points and 10 assists for her 30th career double-double. The accomplishment leaves her just one shy of matching Minnesota’s Courtney Williams for the second-most double-doubles by a guard in WNBA history. Clark also made league history by becoming the fastest player ever to reach 700 career assists, achieving the milestone in just 83 professional games.
In addition to these milestones, Clark’s performance marked her 20th game this season with at least 20 points and 10 assists—a feat no other WNBA player has accomplished more than 10 times throughout the league’s 30-year existence. The Dream will look to continue their home success against the Fever, while Indiana aims to maintain momentum during their extended road stretch.
The game airs Sunday, August 16 at 4 p.m. CT on ESPN and can be streamed via Fubo.
