The Northridge girls golf team secured second place at the NorthWood Girls Golf Invitational held Thursday at Maxwelton Golf Course. The Raiders posted a team score of 334, finishing just nine strokes behind the championship team.
Kennadi Kropf paced Northridge’s effort with a 79, earning her fifth place in the individual standings. Rori Hartzell contributed an 81 to the team total, while Callie Miller added an 82. The remaining scores came from Brittany Irving and Amery Rost.
Warsaw claimed the invitational title with a score of 325. Lake Central finished third at 339, and Penn rounded out the top four with a 340. Finley Baker of Wawasee earned medalist honors with a 70.
The tournament featured fourteen teams competing at the course, with fourteen additional squads listed in the final standings. Northridge’s second-place finish demonstrated strong team performance across all five golfers.
