Conflicting reports have emerged regarding Inter defender Luis Henrique’s potential transfer to Roma. While journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claimed late Tuesday that the two clubs had reached an agreement on transfer terms, a different perspective has now surfaced in the market.
According to transfer specialist Matteo Moretto, negotiations between Roma and Inter are far from concluded despite positive communications between the Serie A rivals. The Brazilian fullback has not yet committed to joining the Giallorossi, casting doubt on whether a deal will materialize.
The primary stumbling block appears to be financial. Moretto indicates that Henrique’s wage expectations significantly exceed what Roma is willing to offer at this time. This compensation gap presents a substantial obstacle to completing the transfer, even though preliminary discussions have taken place between the clubs.
