The 14-track album chronicles the various emotional stages following a high-profile breakup with fellow Colombian musician Feid, alongside other personal challenges including career criticism and family struggles. Partly composed during a solo trip to Hawaii, the record authentically captures the messy reality of heartbreak, progressing from initial rage in tracks like “Te Llevas To” through resignation and temporary escape, before ultimately returning to profound sadness on standout moments like “Final Feliz.”
Musically, Karol G expanded her artistic palette significantly on this project. The album features collaborations with high-profile artists including Drake, Bruno Mars, and producer Oklou, while exploring new genres such as indie rock and experimental pop alongside her signature Latin sounds.
