Upon arrest, authorities discovered the individual was also wanted in connection with a robbery investigation in a nearby community. A search of his vehicle at the golf course revealed a loaded firearm and ammunition with prohibited characteristics. Further investigation at his residence uncovered additional weapons, body armor, high-capacity magazines, and written materials raising concerns. The FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force participated in the search of his home due to the security-related nature of the incident.
The suspect now faces charges including carrying a concealed weapon and possessing armor-piercing ammunition, which violates California’s strict firearms regulations. Investigators note they have not established any confirmed threat to public safety.
