Three major regional powers have formalized a collective security arrangement through a landmark defence pact signed in Mecca. Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, and Pakistan sealed the agreement with the participation of the Saudi crown prince, Turkish president, and Pakistani prime minister at the holy city location.
The defence accord establishes a mutual protection framework among the three nations. Under the terms of the agreement, any armed attack targeting one of the signatory states will be treated as an assault against all three parties to the pact, creating a unified defence posture across the region.
